Becausewesurf launched in 2008 as a free spirited surfers journal. We have since evolved into a community supported, sustainable, informational and fund-raising site supported by a volunteers here in Hawaii. We began Ocean Girl Project in late 2009 in response to the growing need in Hawaii for affordable, sustainable, and ocean related girls summer surf camps.
